Build Your Own Social Web Apps

by DJ Neawedde | 28th May 2006

This is an interesting site where you can integrate existing web services and data formats like Google Maps, Flickr pictures, RSS feeds and more into your very own little web applications. With no software to download and no cost it is a relatively simple process all hosted on their server with your own subdomain, and you can even add your own Google AdSense ads to your app site. The design of your app and site are also completely customizable. Here are a few apps people made that I liked: Star Sightings, Cinecrap and Cute Overload. Overall pretty innovative and definitely pushing towards better user to web interaction.
