Think of it as an instant messenger that works based on your location rather than whether you are logged in or not. To use the client, you must go to the developer site to create a BuddyPing account. buddyPing is a great way to find friends, events and pretty much anything in your local area with your phone. Just text your current location to them and they will send you a text with the location of your friends and anything happening in your area for free.
