KDDI Neon
by DJ Neawedde | 29th August 2006
KDDI of Japan has come out with a new mobile phone through their brand “au” designed by Naoto Fukasawa called the Neon. The flat front surface may look plain, but it actually contains a hidden red digital display inside. The two-line, 8-character display of 16-segment LEDs shows music playing times, FM frequencies, date and time, and other information. It also displays animations or messages to fit the time and season when the handset is closed.
