Texas InstrumentsTexas Instruments is set to introduce a mobile phone that can record TV using DVB-H, the Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld broadcasting standard to record television. It will also have picture-in-picture (PIP) technology to allow two programmes to be watched at once. The technology should be available in 2007.

Texas Instruments has completed research that suggests mobile users would watch up to 3 hours of TV per day on their phones, but in clips of 2-10 minutes at a time and particularly during a commute and at meal times.
