The world’s fourth largest defense contractor, BAE Systems, is testing a hijack-proof airliner that will avoid tall buildings if compromised by terrorists. Tests are a part of the Security of Aircraft in the Future European Environment (SAFEE) project which began in July. SAFEE is a four-year €35.8 million ($45.3 million USD) project involving more than 100 European aviation specialists from 31 companies. Via CrunchGear
