The visual search company, Pixsy today announced its strategic partnership with PureVideo Networks, publisher of popular video sites, StupidVideos.com (comedy) and GrindTV.com (action sports). Terms of the agreement specify that Pixsy will serve as a technology provider for PureVideo Networks’ third vertical, PureVideo Search. Still in beta, PureVideo Search is the Web’s first meta search engine for video, aggregating multiple feeds from crawl-based and feed-based searches, to provide the best in both breadth and timeliness.
“Pixsy’s feed technology is an integral part to PureVideo Search delivering the most relevant video results to our users, as determined by public consumption.†said Greg Morrow, President and Co-founder of PureVideo Networks. “Their growing index and turnkey technology made them the right partner with whom to launch this product.â€
