A “well-informed exec,” of a multinational company that develops iPod products, has leaked some information to Trusted Reviews that the 6th generation iPod will be released this December. According to “Well-informed exec,” it will be capable of a 480p resolution and it will be a touchscreen model with virtual click wheel control. We can remember when Apple filed a patent for a touchscreen device.
Also, Steve Jobs recently let everyone know that he sees no threats to the iPod, not even the Zune. This news comes just after Apple filed a trademark for the term ‘iPhone’ and is said to be releasing 2 versions of the iPhone in 2007. The iPhone may also compete with a Microsoft Zune phone.
