ReCharge your mobile devices

ReCharge4

From the aptly named ‘ReCharge’ comes the ReCharge4, a reusable smart battery to charge your mobile device up to four times from a single charge. It measures 250 x 170 x 90mm and weighs 360g with its battery coming in at 120g. So it’s way more portable than the ChargeBox, not as large as the aigo Portable Solar Charger S1800, yet not as portable as the Mobcharger disposable charger, but the ReCharge4 is obviously usable more than once.

So what can you use with it? On the mobile phones side Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Samsung models are all compatible. Creative, Apple, iRiver and any player that charges over USB makes the grade and the PSP, DS, DS Lite, GameBoy Adv., GameBoy Adv. SP and Gameboy Micro.

The ReCharge4 comes in three separate packs: ‘Mobile Phone’, ‘Portable Gaming Device’ and ‘MP3 Player’ chargers. ReCharge says that separate cables are likely to be made available, for a 3-1 charger. Available now for £39.99 ($75 USD) from the ReCharge site. ReCharge will be selling all the individual leads and connectors when its new site goes live in two weeks. It also reports TomToms are officially compatible.
