Apple orders 12 million iPhones from Taiwanese manufacturer

According to a Taiwan media report, Hon Hai Precision, whose customers include Apple, Cisco, Dell, Nokia, and Sony, has received the order for 12 million Apple iPhones.
What do we already know about the iPhone? Well, we know Apple filed for a trademark on the term ‘iPhone’, the iPhone will be Cingular exclusive at launch, and Apple will release 2 iPhones for 2007, and it may well possibly be in the Spring of 2007. Oh yeah, and we know that everyone and their mother is creating beautiful, and ugly, iPhone concepts!
Additionally, Microsoft announced the “Zune phone†just after ThinkSecret reported the Apple iPhone will make it’s debut at Macworld SF in January 2007.
