O’Reilly: 5 best and worst things about Windows Vista

Vista reviewWith Vista’s scheduled worldwide release date being January 30, 2007, people will soon find out what their personal likes and dislikes for the new OS will be. When Vista is finally released, it will be more than five years after the release of Windows XP, making it the longest time span between major releases of Windows.

According to O’Reilly’s Windows Dev Center, the five things you’ll like are: 1.) Graphical Interface/Windows Aero, 2.) Network/Sharing Center, 3.) Wireless Networking, 4.) Search, and 5.) Security.

The five things you’ll hate are: 1.) User Account Control, 2.) Backup, 3.) Fewer Power User Features, 4.) Navigation Confusion, and 5.) Price.
