AOL being hacked by Nigerians?

by DJ Neawedde | 5th January 2007

AOL hacked by NigeriansMarkus Frind, CEO of Plentyoffish.com (one of the largest dating sites in the world), says that recently there has been a large number of Nigerians trying to spam his site - and they are coming from AOL. His theory is that either AOL user computers are being hijacked or Nigerians are using AOL’s proxy servers.

Frind goes on to say, “At any rate when i look at their accounts they’ve got a AOL email address, AOL brower and US ip address it makes it hard to tell who is legitimate or not from AOL.” Nice.
