ChaCha guided search gets $6M

ChaChaYou know how I love the world of search engines? Ok, maybe you don’t. Regardless, we learned about ChaCha ‘human guided’ search in September.

Well, they are ‘Beta’ now and have just received a new round of funding ($6 million) from a firm led by Jeff Bezos (You know, the guy who founded Amazon and just recently launched a spacecraft?).

Although I did think the ‘human guided’ search was extremely innovative when I first heard about ChaCha, I truthfully didn’t think people would absorb it. Well, Bezos did. And as TechCrunch says, “Want someone to talk to? Go to ChaCha…”
