DocuPen RC800

Now this is pretty sweet, the DocuPen by PLANon lets you scan black and white, standard color or high 24bit color in a resolution from 100 to 400 dpi. PLANon says their hendheld scanner is different than others because it’s the full width of a standard page and can scan an entire page in 4 seconds.

The DocuPen uses a dual-roller guiding system which uses rollers around the scanner lens to distribute operator’s pressure evenly for smooth and easy scans. It runs on rechargeable lithium-Ion batteries, and has an expandable MicroSD memory slot for your storing pleasure.

The RC800 is $300, while the RC800 Professional runs you $350. The Professional comes with ABBYY FineReader Sprint, an intelligent OCR (Optical Character Recognition) conversion software. Via CrunchGear
