FBI Training Elite Swedish Anti-Piracy Force

by DJ Neawedde | 19th February 2007

Sweden is famous for it’s piracy, organizations like The Pirate Bay and services like Relakks (launched by the Swedish Pirate Party) roam free. The FBI and the MPA (Motion Picture Association) are working hand in hand to train an ‘elite anti-piracy force’ in Sweden. The goal: to counter piracy, an increasing threat and embarrassment to the FBI.

According to P2PFreak, “In an overt attempt to visibly improve the Swedish police’s response to piracy, six police officers have begun their training, provided by the international arm of the MPAA”
