Hello everyone! As you may (or may not) have realized, the ‘Digg Effect’ (this post) rendered Ministry of Tech lifeless for a brief period last night, and we’re still moving slow at times today. My apologies to everyone who was inconvenienced!

I was actually going to switch hosting companies last weekend, but I decided to put it off till this coming weekend. Well, that was obviously an unforseeable mistake. I’ve purchased a new Media Temple Grid-Server account (will be upgrading to Dedicated-Virtual within the next month) to serve you better and so we don’t have this problem again. We will be migrating there this evening from Dreamhost, just to give you all the heads up since there may be a little downtime here at MoT.
