The Best of Nano-Scale Artwork

by DJ Neawedde | 28th March 2007

This article lists some of the best nano-scale artworks. It includes a 15 micron wide badger (shown right), a ten micron long guitar (which was actually played) and a 120 micron long New
Scientist logo
.

As the article says though, these are the images that got released to the press. I have to wonder if any NSFW nano-art has yet been made. Knowing what research students are like, I think it’s a safe bet that it has.

Amazing artworks! Each of the nano-creations is wonderful. I love that advert thing. I love the badger too. Maybe someday we can see nano-artwork showing portraits of people. The challenge that precedes the creation of a self portrait combined with the equally challenging nano-artwork would be great. Kudos to all artists who continue to upgrade the level of art.
