We talked about this briefly yesterday, but this is the official announcement after teasing us at WinHEC. It’ll come with Intel’s new 800MHz A110 processor. Your choice of 512MB or 1GB of memory with a 20GB hard drive. Other features are the 5.6-inch widescreen display (1024×600) with touchscreen capability, QWERTY keyboard, with ports for external keyboard and display. Also, Fujitsu is touting this as the “world’s smallest tablet-convertible UMPC.” Availability will start in Japan this June at 144,000 yen ($1,200 USD). The FMV-U8240 will become available during June. There is no word of a U.S. launch date. Read [Fujitsu]
