      Hey,

I got the YP-U3 last last Friday and i can say it’s a really cool upgrade from the YP-U2.

For one, the mp3 is available from 1 GB at a reasonable price, there are now touch sensitive controls have really up’d Samsungs game. A neat little USB can be revealed by flicking the USB button (this is where the HOLD switch used to be on the YP-U2). The recording quality has improved immensly and with that, a new DSNE has been added called Concert Hall. This makes the music sound exactly that. Another accessory is a neon blue light which can be controlled in settings.

However, downsides. One is the colours the mp3s come in. All the colours look dreadful, bright and luminous apart from the black and white version. It makes you wonder mayber Samsung took a leaf out of Appkles book (iPod Mini). Another is the MUSIC option. For those (like me) who listen to different types of music, this can be very annoying as there is no assortment of folders like the YP-U2. Hence, the music is all jumbled up.
Samsung have tried to organise the music by default for example sorting out the artists, albums, song titles etc. but it’s still not the same as having YOUR tracks YOUR way.

On the whole, i’d give this MP3 a 8/10. With minor downfalls, it is a really good upgrade in the Samsung family. a lot of adjust improvements have boosted it’s status which really improve Samsungs rep. and rank.

      Well Done Samsung!
