Suck ALL the WiFi from your Neighborhood

Boris, from Amsterdam, had the following problem.
At this moment I can see 8 different signals. Some are closed networks but most are open and available. I can only connect to one at a time so I tend to just pick the one with the best signal. But what if I could connect to all the networks at the same time and combine their bandwith?
So, Mark Hoekstra took it upon himself to build the Slurpr, a heavily modified light-weight Linux box with six WiFi cards. The box can connect to 6 unsecured networks and bundle them into one huge pipe. If you only use five, then you can re-broadcast over WiFi, but you can use all six and connect over Ethernet. They’re going to be selling the box, for just over the cost price.
The box will cost 999 euro, ex taxes and ex shipping. Now that may seem very steep, but click around the web, configure it with these specs and on the material alone you’ll come very close. This box is being sold pre-assembled, pre-configured and ready to slurp!
Of course, wardriving is a contraversial topic, even in liberal Amsterdam. The site currently includes a short survey, asking potential buyers what features they want in the box. It’s possible that it might even ship with WEP cracking built-in.
