MySpace Worth $12 Billion?

by DJ Neawedde | 20th June 2007

yahooWell, I wouldn’t pay that for MySpace, but I don’t have $12 billion either. However, TechCrunch is apparently hearing rumours that Yahoo! and MySpace could be merging, with MySpace retaining 25% of the new companies stock. Do the maths and you get a $12 billion price for MySpace.

Of course, integration between MySpace and Flickr could be interesting, and catch up and overtake Facebook’s impressive photo sharing feature. With MySpace video already working nicely, that could really give the social network a boost.
