Warner streams entire catalog of music, video for free on Imeem

San Francisco startup Imeem is now streaming Warner Music Group’s entire music and video catalog for free. This is the first time a major label has agreed to ad-based revenue when streaming music. And it’s interesting because Warner sued Imeem two months ago for copyright infringement - now they’re lovey dovey, does this signal a change of heart from major record labels?

Imeem says they are “an online community where artists, fans & friends can promote their
content, share their tastes, and discover new blogs, photos, music and video.” Read [VentureBeat]
